Walking into the resplendent lobby of Cyprus’ AMARA hotel, a crystalline thought forms. This hotel may be the fanciest place I’ve ever set foot in.
Unfortunately, looking down at said feet – currently clad in grubby trainers that were, at one point, white – this thought also comes with the unshakeable feeling that my travel-worn self is entirely at odds with the decadence that surrounds me.
